Housed in a converted industrial hall, the zoo offers a surprisingly diverse collection of reptiles, amphibians, and exotic animals. From the very first exhibit, you’ll find yourself drawn in – the enclosures are thoughtfully designed and the animals are remarkably close to visitors.
Snakes, Alligators & More
The alligators were particularly impressive – resting lazily on a platform, they still radiated a presence that’s hard to forget. Snake enthusiasts will be equally delighted: a striking red corn snake draped across an old wagon wheel was a real showstopper.
Not Just Reptiles: Tamarins and Surprises
There’s even a surprise or two in store: a curious black tamarin monkey watched us from its enclosure with great interest. These unexpected encounters are what make a visit truly special.
